Lots of items don’t fare well in cold temperatures.

Remember to Remove:

Electrical / electronic items
Musical instruments, particularly wooden ones!
Medication
Pressurized items - Aerosols (some are known to explode at low temperatures)
Tinned products

Then, things to take with you:

Breakdown cover phone number
Ice scrapper / De-icer
External battery pack charger – for phone, for the car battery
Blankets
Torch – you’ll have one on your phone.

Maintenance - make sure you have carried out these tasks:

Check tyres - tread depth, wheel alignment and pressures
Check your anti-freeze
Check your screen wash
Check your oil level
Check your lights
Check your brakes
Check your AC works... it clears the screen much quicker in the mornings if you turn on your AC!  Dry air!
