Drift Team Morleysport
If there was ever a team of drift cars to get excited about, this one is it. It's no secret that the world of drifting is one of expensive Japanese S-bodies, Skylines and the like. But, Drift Team Morleysport begs to differ.
We have put together a team of purely retro drift cars. The line-up currently includes 3 Mk2 Escorts, a Toyota Starlet and a Toyota Corolla – certainly far from the norm as far as competitive drifting is concerned. Currently all drivers will be competing in the British Drift Championship and selected rounds of the JDM Allstars drift championship. In addition to this the team will be providing drift demonstrations at several events throughout the year. Do come along and show your support for the most exciting team to hit competitive drifting in years.

Ben first tried his hand at drifting in 2009, November to be precise, and after just four months he was considered good enough to hold a Pro-class license. He is touted as being a naturally talented driver and has progressed very quickly under the tuition of Malcolm Foskett (the main man from the Norfolk Arena Drift Team).

The car that started it all, Declan was the first man to mix it with the big boys in an old Ford and his car is very well known for being at obscene angles at obscene speeds. Declan is a force to be reakoned with behind the wheel of his Mk2 Escort and absolutely would not be drifting anything other than a Mk2 Escort. Pure entertainment to watch, pure talent behind the wheel.
Steve Evans

Steve “Stiggy” Evans is an old hand at this drifting game and has been going sideways since the scene arrived here in the UK. He can make the little Starlet dance like no one else and is famed for his do-or-die approach to driving. With a fresh car under him this year, he is set to make a huge return to the world of drifting.

Mark has been doing skids for quite some time now, but it's only this year that he has decided to enter competition. His Mk2 Escort hasn't seen anything like the work of the rest of the cars on the team (aside from a few essential mods) but Mark still manages to throw it about with the best of them.
