Morleysport - Retro Ford Tuning & Performance Modifications
The Morleysport department of Morley Auto Services was added to the company portfolio in the mid nineties and came about due to Ian and Ben's interests in modified, performance and racing cars.
Ian's passion for cars led to him engine tuning and modifying his own vehicles from an early age, with the first being a Mk1 Escort GT. After this a succession of modified metal passed through his hands in the form of Morris Minors, Capris, and even a Jensen Interceptor!
Morleysport's first big projects back in the early days were based around the world of grass track and stock car racing. The knowledge and attention to detail required to build a championship winning race car has since been used to offer a high level of care and skill to cater for all manner of performance modifications, with many of the end results being showcased in magazine features seen all over the world.
Morleysports specialist area is retro and classic Ford tuning, such as the iconic Mk1 Escort and the much loved 105E Anglia, and it was this interest that led to Ben moving across to take up position at the helm of Retro Ford Magazine. Ben still has a major input in to Morleysport, and is responsible for many of the departments achievements.
A recent addition to the team is Nick Thomas, former editor of Performance Ford Magazine, who has joined the company as a technician, making use of over 12 years experience building and maintaining race cars and modified engines.
